Take the A9 north from Perth to Inverness. Turn off the A9 (north of Aviemore) onto the A95 signpost to Carrbridge, Grantown on Spey, Elgin. Follow Grantown-on-Spey signs and after 5 miles turn right at the sign for Boat of Garten, Nethy Bridge. Strathspey Cottage is on Deshar Road, the main road in Boat of Garten, at the corner of Strathspey Park.
Travelling from the North:
Take the A9 south from Inverness towards Perth. Turn off left at the A938 signpost to Carrbridge. At the Carrbridge Hotel bear right with the road and continue through the village, past Landmark on the right and on for several miles until you reach a 'T' junction with the A95. Turn left signposted to Grantown-on-Spey; after approx 1 mile turn right at the sign for Boat of Garten, Nethy Bridge. Strathspey Cottage is on Deshar Road, the main road in Boat of Garten, at the corner of Strathspey Park.
